He Needs Your Maturity

It took me a while to appreciate and understand what God was doing with my life. One may ask, what is it that took me a while to appreciate?

God had to build Me by jumping hurdles, surmounting potholes, feeling torn, stretched, heavy at some point and dealing with people from diverse backgrounds, with beliefs and perspective a little swayed from the regular person you would deal with.

“Until after 5 years, I did not appreciate the people God brought my way to work with, others to coach and mentor but most importantly how well I should/do handle situations in dealing with others”.

Growing up, I always received the compliment of how Matured I am plus I enjoyed conversations with minds that were older and more experienced than mine.**wink.😊Little did I know that, my kind of maturity was just the preliminary kinda maturity…lol

When I started corporate life, I realised that, there was more to maturity in dealing with life, situations and people. I was tested and squeezed so many times.

Not only that, on a social level in relationships dealing with friends, family and love relationships, I had to unlearn and learn remarkably so much.

Actions and inactions of others triggered wrong emotions. Some people deliberately came at me and others unknowingly came at me to bring out the worse in me. I am sure I have done same to others by bringing the worse in them… 😊All these were for a greater good.

I became molded by these. The after effect, greater self control, listening more, talking less and handling situations and issues in a more civil manner. Less drama, less headaches yet carry messages and learnings across very well.

Those years with many hurdles and issues to deal with were the best years of my life. Years of Darkness, negativity and pain Pas. Keoin Anderson says are the best years of our lives and I completely agree with him on that. Without a blink, life gets better with and after those years.

Mind you, not everyone will see and appreciate how far you have come to talk of acknowledging your level of maturity presently. That may be none of your business. Enjoy the process, learning and appreciate yourself with where you are now. Keep evolving. The right people will appreciate it.

Looking back at my level of maturity now, I understood why I had to deal with situations and people in the past. Glad I have been able to go through this. Still work in progress and learning everyday However, I am so far from where I started from.

God was and has been up to something. There are roles, positions and situations that require a higher level of wisdom, composure and decorum. And to get you to speed and be that qualified and more, you will have to go through all challenges that comes your way

Mine, that in 5 years, I learnt and keep learning even more. Still in the process..Building and learning.

Checked your life and how far you have come? Has God been up to something in yours?

In all these, one beautiful thing for me is the calmness, how light I feel and the peace I enjoy. I am not perplexed neither am I bothered about situations. I have seen too many things to dwell on negativity.

I appreciated life, strengths of others and people genuinely without tagging them to their flaws and short falls and there, I grew.

This evening, after many nights of thinking, I concluded God needed me this way for higher roles and greater calling. Is it always nice and sweet? Hell No. It can be hard sometimes but has all been worth it.

Next time you would want to question life, yourself, others, situations and even God on what you have to endure, remember God being our Father has a purpose to build you into something greater and purposeful. That which will bless others.

With that, you get the opportunity to bless others by teaching and guiding them on how to handle issues, situations and challenges that come their way.

The good book talks about God not giving us more than we can handle. 1 Cor. 10:13 reads:
No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist]

So hey, when you cannot go on, please remember God Got This!

He needs your Maturity for the next phase and the goal. Never Give Up!😍
