Ever had a dead line to meet and an undeniable feeling of helplessness over a situation? Unsure how to resolve it within the time frame or in the space of producing the result, you do not have immediate answers?
Yes! I think it happens to everyone of us. From a business perspective, the approach is much simpler ie: have a plan as well as execution process considering resources needed, then find and resolve it by putting in the work. Sometimes, that help is getting another hand or acquire extra expertise to get this done. Where necessary, we create room for options most of the time. End point is result, solution or answer.
You will however agree with me that, the process of getting this resolved can be tough and stressful sometimes. Draining, tiring and confusing other instances…
Then come the Quick Fix!
Quick fix can be attributed to that story of a boat that had a hole created beneath it which causes water to gush in affecting the balance putting lives in danger. Several people were hired to fix this but could not until an old man was found to get this done. In fixing, getting in the boat with all his tools, he only used a little “hammer” 🔨 that is if I got the tool right. This he used to hit the problem area and that was it.
Then he charged a million USD for work done. Everyone was astonished to hear his charge. He was told, but you just did this in a minute. Those who hired him were thinking he will dismantle machines and use days to get it fixed…😊Moral of the story will be for another day. However, there was a Quick fix for that problem which the old man did within a minute. Problem that might have caused headaches and sleepless nights to the extent of engaging wrong people to fix was fixed within a minute by the right person.
This is where our Master Quick Fix comes in. God!
Some of us go through situations that causes us to talk to wrong people who will not be of help but only empathize, if not lucky gossip about it/us. You are not to blame for trusting wrong people or even trusting yourself for your inability to handle a situation but turn out bad.
Personally, I have seen God come through for me in the most unexpected and unexplainable manner by fixing little, not so little and big issues i wasn’t sure how it was going to be done and even turn out. This i see he does for others as well in its beautiful and diverse ways. I bet you have a story as well…🥰
Right from a state of uncertainty about work,personal projects,educational needs and family. Do you have some stories you don’t mind sharing with the closest person around you after this read to encourage them? Looking back, are there situations that felt tough and hopeless but answers came just in time? Project you got the grace, wisdom, resources, strength and help to complete the dying minute or before deadline?
He is Never late. Always on time. Often, we all turn to think it takes time for God to come through. I do too.😊 My grandmom of blessed memory(Momi Deborah) once told me this: “When it comes to our Needs we do not have provision for, we will not see how God will do it but he will ‘always always’ take care of it before we realise. That is, he will take care of it before a situation gets bad, out of hand or late”.
I gave myself time to analyze and comprehend my granny’s statement to appreciate how past, present and future issues that come up had God coming through and I was like Wow! That word on God being on time to get things done has never left me.
I am here in bed today after a long week when the Holy Spirit reminded me of how God came through for me recently. One thing about God giving you a Quick Fix is, what happens to be a problem for you get waived 💯 by another without you feeling the pinch. So the headaches and stress being the initial trouble gets completely replaced with Peace and Comfort.
For the women, we go to the salon for a Quick Fix of our hair,whether short hair, weave or braid styling and end up looking dashing. That which creates a lasting impression on another person or group of people depending on event. The salon or beautician gave a quick fix. Nonetheless, the process of thinking about what to do, which style works best and settling on what we want can be stressful. The trick was only a quick fix by a beautician. Once she touches your hair or nails, it is no longer your problem. Unless you Do Not trust the beautician, you will still carry the burden of process and outcome of hair fixing. Do you trust God as the chief beautician and advocate? That is a rhetoric question but the onus is on us to pay attention to what or who we trust in every situation.
On my quick fix stories to share, not so long ago, there was a situation I wasn’t sure how i was going to handle. It was nothing I could not handle though😊 Tricky. However, the circumstance and instance couple with season made it difficult to think of a perfect solution. I was helpless yet did not discuss with anyone. I said a prayer each night about it severally. Truth is, aside my boyfriend, I couldn’t think of anyone to discuss it with. And that I was not ready to talk to him about as well. It gave me sleepless nights some days. But on one of the nights into morning, at about 12am, my little brother calls and somehow, he keeps asking if I am okay on the phone. He then asked if there was something I am troubled about. He will not hang up until I speak. Mind you, I am a nocturnal individual and between my brother and I, calling those hours was normal.
Nonetheless, it had been days since we spoke and that night, the little man’s words and posture was full of love, leadership(for his age) and had this ear to listen and fix things. Somehow, it was obvious he could sense something wasn’t right.. I didn’t doubt God sent him. He was being impossible on the phone until I spoke. In his own words, he told me he knows I will not tell anyone if something was bothering me… 😊He knew me too well. Then I told him what was on my mind.
Now, the rest was history. After narrating to him that night/morning, he took issue as his own taking all the necessary steps to get us resolve it leaving me out of it. And how God used him to show me love and leadership was beyond comprehension for me. Now, that I call a Real Quick Fix!. You see, God waived my problem and gave it to someone else as a burden so it is fixed beautifully.
There has also been other situations when I was a student during my undergrad days. God had to do Quick Fixes for me and my mom who as a single mother with her child in a private international institution made sure school fees was settled and I was very comfortable at school. Days she/we were unsure outcome of payments, we don’t know how it happens but God!. He takes care of everything regardless timing. He is Always in time. Never late. Now if those were not Quick Fixes, what could they be?
As a young adult, I have seen God come through for me in many instances. Tangible and intangible ones. Same as friends and family👪 What are you believing God to fix for you? He Got You!
As a chief physician, he will take care of those little illnesses and the critical ones. As a lawyer, you can trust him to defend and speak for you in private and public meetings. As a father and friend, he will protect, defend and assist you build on that dream. Just trust him in every step cuz he is still giving quick fixes like a plumber will do for a kitchen sink.
The word of our God in Jeremiah 33:10 says we should call upon him and he will answer us and show us unsearchable things. The good thing about God is, there are things we do not ask but as a Father, he knows and does it for us. Need a Quick Fix at life or a situation, honey just speak to him. And let his love lead you. 💘 He will take you from a state of need to positive buoyancy.
